Nicknamed "Sawtooth" after the traditional warehouse "ripsaw" roofline, this building underwent a
total renovation, transforming its basic structure into a unique home for Grand Central's artisan
bread production, central offices and newest café.
Flooded with abundant natural light, café customers enjoy a very intimate and personal view into
the heart of the bakery - its bakers and their craft. The "Sawtooth" café also features an enclosed patio,
with a portion under cover, for year-round outdoor seating. Close to downtown, the Pearl district and just
off of bustling NW 23rd Ave, our Sawtooth bakery customers will appreciate the ample parking for quick
stops before, during and after work.
Also an easy pit stop from Portland's glorious Forest Park, Grand Central "Sawtooth" offers the same artisan breads and delicious seasonal lunch menu as our other Portland bakeries, along with a favorite assortment of Grand Central pastries baked fresh daily on-site for hungry hikers and bikers.
