Grand Central transformed the old Chappell Trucking Company building into a cozy refuge off of the Mississippi shopping district corridor. Like its Southeast cousin in Sellwood, the Fremont bakery sports a friendly family-style table in the center that can accommodate a large group or serve as a chance to get to know your neighbor! Parents will appreciate comfortable seating with a great view for the kids of our bakers in action. Ample parking makes this bakery a convenient quick stop for pastries and lunches to take to work before you head over the Fremont bridge.
Our Fremont bakery offers the same artisan breads and delicious seasonal lunch menu as our other Portland bakeries, along with a favorite assortment of Grand Central pastries baked fresh daily on-site.
