Pacific Northwest Bounty
In order to provide Grand Central customers with the best food possible we're continually searching for the best tasting ingredients. Lucky for us, we find much of what we need in the abundant bread basket of the Willamette Valley and greater Pacific Northwest. We prefer to buy fresh, locally produced, sustainably grown products in season. Don't ask for tomato on your Grand Central sandwich unless it's high summer! In spring, you'll enjoy rhubarb and asparagus. Our wonderful long summers give us fresh berries throughout and in July and August we'll have plenty of peaches. Apples last a long time but they don't show up until fall. We balance this seasonality with a desire to provide a wide variety of flavors and products throughout the year by choosing quality ingredients preserved at their peak.
