Artisan Bread

Grand Central bakers transform the simple combination of flour, water and salt into a dynamic selection of tasty artisan breads every day. From mixing the dough to pulling loaves from the hearth, our bakers use time, temperature and technique to coax complex flavors from these simple ingredients. To insure that the freshest bread is available at our bakeries as well as at your favorite restaurants and grocery stores, our bakers work though the night pulling a wide variety of hot loaves from the hot hearth oven. Because the final product we create is only as good as the raw ingredients used, we purchase our flour from the Shepherds Grain collective whose members practice sustainable farming in the Palouse region of SE Washington State.

Slice (or tear) into a loaf of Grand Central Bread and you'll be rewarded with our hallmark toothsome crust, chewy interior, and robust flavor.
