One roll of dough, so many delicious possibilities! Join Grand Central Cuisine Manager Laura Ohm for an eye-opening experience in the versatility of puff pastry. Laura, who keeps a roll in her freezer at all times, will be sharing a few of her go-to applications (both sweet and savory) for Grand Central's U-Bake Puff Pastry.

The Alchemy of Sweet Spreads with Harriet Fasenfest

Jam is just one of many products that fall into the "Sweet Spread" category, but it is probably the first one that comes to mind. This class will begin with a discussion of the others (including preserves, conserves and marmalade), and then come back to jam while deconstructing the process. Through an exploration of each ingredient's properties, quirks and their relationship within a recipe, you will leave with the knowledge and confidence to go forth recipe-less and still hit your sweet spot. Making your own pectin will also be covered.
